  1. Masha’Allah sister! Stay on the truth and don’t let people deceive you. May Allah SWt help us all. Ameen.

  2. Allah have chosen you sister. Hang on to your believe. It is not going to be easy. As a Muslim, you have to repair your relationship with your mother. Be kind to her and try very hard to win her.

  3. JazakAllah Khair for all of your responses and support. Me and my mother are doing better now Alhamdulillah and I have moved back in with her. I know the importance and status of our parents and especially our mothers in Islam, alhamdulillah.

  4. Dear Abby,

Allah ytbtk 3ala Dinak, mtwaqk el janah inshallah

It’s amazing to hear your story, which if found very touching to have someone at ur age to leave the lifestyle she grown up with and embrace Islam. When lots of Muslims in this generation young Muslims convert from Islam to …..

I would like to keep in touch with u personally

I believe you story might be an inspiration to waken up Muslims to take the right path back.

      1. Masha Allah Sister, I just saw the episode with you on Dr. Phil. I just wanted to tell you that the episode touched me, and I know how hard it is as I have lived in a similar situation all my life. But Al Hamdullileh we must always keep leading by example. I think you did a fine job in defending yourself and being civil about it. Unfortunately their are many ignorant people out there who only see the bad and refuse to accept the beauty and absolute perfectness of our religion. Keep on striving towards the right path sister. I love you for the sake of Allah. Selam.

  5. inshallah all the best to my new sister. it must be painful to have your mother hate you, never stop making dua’a to her … she is your mother.
    may allah protect you.

  6. The only thing I would like to say to Abby is that Islam is not synonymous with Saudi Arabia. I have lived in Saudi Arabia and, unless you are Saudi by birth, you are a second-hand citizen and beneath born Saudis. No matter your nationality, skin color or the fact that you have reverted to Islam. Think hard before you decide to live there. ESPECIALLY WOMEN!

  7. May Allah bless you and guide you to the right pass. I have two things i wish you have to pay extreme attention too.
    1- Allah ordered you to treat your parents at your best, even if they don’t do anything except trying to convince you to leave islam.
2- Saudi Arabia is an islamic country, but it does not represent true islam in any way, there is lots of mix between culture and religion there, i’m not telling you not to go, but only take care, you will see un islamic acts done by fatwas, justified by scholars with very poor evidence, you will see people’s manners (some) having nothing to do with islam at all. If it is a must to go there, don’t go except after knowing your religion really well, otherwise you may lose more than you gain.
May god be with you all the way.

    1. Congratulations to you the most powerful woman in America:) I hop ur Mather & father convert in the Islam too insaallah
